HOW CAN I CHALLENGE ONLINE?

Follow the steps below and start challenging online straight away.

0 CUSTOMISE YOUR EMBLEM AND YOUR COLOURS

Access all areas from the challenge room: virtual album, activate card codes, create a deck, ranking, Challange Area and configure your emblem and colours.You can personalise this last section by choosing the shape, figure and logo.Choose wisely so that your rivals quake at the sight of your impressive emblem before each challenge!

What's more, as you become an outstanding player of ADRENALYN XL™ (shooting up the ranking), you'll go up levels (up to level 5:Easy, Medium, Hard, Best, Super) and each new level will unlock the option of choosing more and better emblem figures and shapes.

1. ACTIVATE CARD

Use this section to type in the code on the back of the actual card to add it to your virtual collection.

You can also deactivate a card already in your online binder by entering its code again and clicking on the button.

2. MY DECK

This section gives you the chance to create a deck with your cards.

When you take part in a challenge, you'll play with your current deck.

Adapt your deck to come up with the best strategy to beat your rivals.

We've also made it easier for you to pick the players you want for your deck.

You can now sort cards by their national team and by the value of their attack or defence scores, among other options.

3.CHALLENGE AREA

The Challenge Area is the meeting point for all online ADRENALYN XL™ collectors.

You can play on-going challenges, create new challanges or directly challenge available opponents here.

Available users can join any challenge you set up.

4.RANKING

Online Adrenalyn XL™ has a general ranking showing total scores.

At the start, each collector has 1000 points and depending on how they play their Professional Challenges, they might lose their own points or win points from their opponents.

In addition, the points to be won or lost vary depending on your rival's own ranking score.

If you play against rivals with fewer points than you, it might be easier to beat them but when you win, the points that you can take off them will always be less than points that they can take off you if you lose.

On the other hand, if you play against opponents with more points in the ranking than you, it might be harder to beat them but you will take more points off them than you would lose.

Don't forget that if you beat players with a lot of points, you'll move into the top spots very quickly!

5.RULES 

5.1 PICK YOUR DECK

Before starting an ADRENALYN XL™ challenge, you have to pick your deck

5.2 CHOOSE YOUR CARDS

Try to go for the best deck for your cards.

If you've got a lot of great defenders, use a more defensive deck but if you've got a lot of fantastic forwards, you'd be better off on the offensive.

5.3 READY TO START

During the challenge, you are not allowed to look at your cards or your opponent's cards.

5.4 CHALLENGE AGAINST THE MACHINE

If you fancy training for a while and you need a rival for friendly challenges, we have added the possibility of playing against the machine at five different levels.

Bear in mind that the last two are really difficult, so if you do win, you will have completed a magnificent training programme and it'll be really hard for anyone to beat you.

5.5  CHALLENGE START !

The players chosen by the computer to start the match chooses one of his cards and decides whether to attack or defend against their opponent.

In turn, the rival chooses one of their cards and uses it in defence or attack. If the first player attacks, the opponent must defend and vice versa. Players should compare the ratings on their chosen cards.

The card with the higher value scores a point and starts the next round. Cards chosen for this round cannot be used again during the challenge and are placed outside the challenge area.

If the scores on the two cards are equal, the draw is decided by the star rating that appears on all the cards between the attack and defence values. If the star rating is also a draw, both cards must be discarded and there is no winner for this round.

5.6  CHEATING IS NOT ALLOWED

You CANNOT challenge the same collector more than three times a week.

This stops anyone being tempted to create several players with different names to lose against or any other type of foul play. We also check all players' challanges and in the event that we suspect a player of cheating, we will eliminate them automatically from the game or we will reset their ranking to 1000 points
